A firecrest at Bosherston was the highlight of a days birding around the Angle peninsula. It was in scrub along the path between the reed bed and the hide. An otter was swimming around the reeds here too.
Pembroke River - 4 Greenshank, 7 Grey Plover and around 500 Dunlin. Yesterday's Avocet was well searched for but not found. Wigeon numbers are markedly down with only c30 seen here.
Kilpaison - 8 Pale-bellied Brent Geese.
Angle village - 43 Bar-tailed Godwit and 12 Knot.
Castlemartin Corse - a pair of Pintail.
