Info Post
At long last went up to see the Starling roost at Plumstone late this afternoon. Having left south Pembs in sunshine arrived with dark clouds and a hail shower to welcome me. But the Starlings came in from all directions in huge numbers and put on a spectacular, though fairly brief, display between c.5:15 and 5:40 p.m. . 2 Buzzards were seen over the conifers with the Starlings and a distant Ring Tailed Hen Harrier over the ridge to the right. The highlight was 2 adult male Hen Harriers quite close in below the vantage point at Plumstone.
News from Leo Reich of a Goshawk in the conifers near the qaurry at Rosebush this morning.
