Millpond Godwits

update on the Black-tailed Godwits on the upper pond.
Today there were 128 including the colour ringed (orange/yellow right tibia, White left tibia). This bird has been recorded here for at least 4 years now. It is consisitant with dates, last year it was here 22nd Feb.
The numbers are building at the moment 32 on the 13th, 60 on the 19th, 97 on the 26th and 128 on the 27th.
They will disapear again if the water levels rise again after heavy rain.
