Info Post
The shrike was very mobile especially in the scrub area, and was vocal at one point whilst sat on a tall spruce. On checking a sound recording since, I've learned that the series of monosyllabic squeaks it uttered pass for a song. Also singing were coal tits, willow tits and goldcrests - significantly more of these around than the last two springs. The crossbills are still around and eleven were seen leaving and heading towards Pantmaenog.
