A female/first summer male Golden Oriole this morning on the Deer Park by the Coastwatch building, flew towards the valley below by Rath Cottage but not seen to land or seen since (Mervyn Jones).
At the Gann no sign of yesterday's Bee-eater, however 2 Bar-tailed Godwits included a superb brick red summer adult, around 10 Whimbrel, 7 Dunlin, 5 Ringed Plover, 1 Turnstone, 8 Shelduck, 2 Sandwich Terns, a singing Reed Warbler and a surprising 14 Mute Swans.
The 3 Glossy Ibis still at Marloes Mere (9:55am), viewable from the Britton Hide but distant across the north side. Still a good number of hirundines, 3 drake Shoveler, a pair of Gadwall and a pair of Teal. A few Swifts moving north - 3 here, another 5 at St. Ann's Head and another on the way home.
