Info Post
A rather restless party of 10 Dunlin were all I could find on the Gann pools mid-morning yesterday, but a nice surprise in the dense bushes on the other side of the road were a pair of Bullfinches and a singing (but elusive) Lesser Whitethroat. The lovely surprise about the hirundines around Marloes Mere this week has been the large numbers of House and Sand Martins mixed in with the Swallows. In Martins Haven, no more reeling Grasshopper Warblers, but Sedge Warblers are nest building actively, and a pair of Wheatear seem to have decided to nest in a rabbit burrow right by our house.
