Made the most of the glorious weather today starting off at Kilpaison where there was a nice little collection of waders - 120 Dunlin, 2 Sanderling, 1 Knot and a Bar-tailed Godwit. On to Freshwater West where it was very quiet apart from lots of activity at the Sand Martin colony with birds landing in the grass to collect nesting material.
At Marloes around midday plenty of singing Whitethroats, Sedge Warblers and Willow Warblers and on the mere one adult Glossy Ibis flew into view from the long vegetation. Some visiting birders had seen the other Glossies as well.
Lastly at the Deer Park 3 Stonechats, a few Whitethroats and a couple of Wheatears. Two Chough showed well foraging on the cliffs.
