Info Post
Early start at Pantmaenog. Tree pipits seem to be displaying with vigour. Lesser whitethroat singing. A family of goldcrest. Cuckoos calling all over initially, with just the Rosebush bird persisting later on. Grasshopper warblers, Reed Buntings and a Whinchat. Met up with Paddy and did another circuit - new birds were a fine male Redstart, and whilst watching a young female kestrel a sparrowhawk put in an appearance after a wheatear for breakfast. A Red Kite was having a tussle with a buzzard by car park.
