At Marloes Mere this evening the female Black Duck showing once more from the new hide with a drake Mallard (she is evidently not on eggs!), and the pair of Garganey also on show in the same 'scope view! A few migrants around - 2 Wheatears, several Willow Warblers, a few Sand Martins.
A message from John Best (who cannot Blog until Friday), he discovered a Short-toed Lark & a Lapland Bunting in a private field in the St. David's Area this evening. Sadly no access is likely, but he just wanted people to know that they are not being uneccessarily surpressed and no-one else will be allowed access (my words, not John's).
