Info Post
From hide at Marloes Mere, brief views of black duck with 2 male mallards close by at around 1700 hrs. Not much else of note other than a pair of teal and a pair of shoveler. Clearly seemed to be a reasonable fall of willow warblers today - judging by numerous very tame individuals feeding in various open places here and on Skomer earlier - noted to be numerous at the farmhouse area during the mist. Swifts over Martins Haven late afternoon. Still no house martins back at Orielton FC, nor any at Stackpole NT/CCW base. They are a week or so late compared with normal years. At Orielton cuckoo also calling on 27th. Two summer-plumage dunlin on cliff-top along Castlemartin coast plus small numbers of whimbrel moving through over the weekend from Castlemartin to Canaston.
