Picton Point;-
An Osprey flew upstream towards Blackpool Mill at 1315.
Soon afterwards a male Lesser Spotted Woodpecker started calling & drumming, showing very well. It's territory appears include the area of wood opp. Heron Cottage.

On route to Picton, Paul also had House Martin at Millin, & an Orange tip at The Rhos, & 2 Yellowhammers c0.5m past Creamston.

Later at Picton (1715), a House Martin flew through with Swallows & Sand Martins.
A Red Kite was also seen over the foreshore at Hook hunting along the shore.
A good sighting for the area?

Fishguard Outer Breakwater;-
3 Purple Sands. & 4 Wheatear.

Teifi & Cemaes Head;-
This am, 6 Little Egrets roosting opp. St. Dogmaels Quay with 26 Redshank.
Cemaes Hd., quiet, 3 Wheatears, a few Swallows & Sand Martins moving West.
Also a male Kestrel along the cliff, & my 1st Speckled Wood.

Newport;- tonight just 3 Ringed Plover, & pr. of Starling!
