Egyptian Goose
Info Post
Went back to the Teifi late morning for another look at the Egyptian Goose with Richard D.
Having swum upstream, it could only be viewed from a private garden opposite the creek. It was on a shingle bank with a Mallard, looking very restless probably because an otter just walked past it! Then in the same scope view the otter could be seen wrestling in the water with a huge salmon. If only we had a video camera with us - you don't often get sights like that.
With the tide coming in, it flew downstream again. If it stays around the best place to locate it from would probably be from the bypass bridge.
Of note, there was an Egyptian goose at Dryslwyn yesterday.
