11 April - Bosherston area

Continuing good passage of sand martins all this week; 300+ estimated over the lakes this afternoon, probably similar numbers moving through all week. Smaller numbers of swallows and house martins but still no swallows back at Home Farm/NT base breeding sites. They are back at several other farms in south Pembs.

Whimbrels (3) on Stackpole Warren and several sandwich terns off Barafundle Bay. Goosanders still present, but down in number to 3 females. Green Woodpecker yaffling but only 1 territory confirmed so far. Nesting ravens have young now.
