Good steady diurnal movements of skylarks (30-40); meadow pipits (50-60); chaffinches (100+); redwings 50+; and woodpigeons c. 100 over Stackpole Warren this afternoon. Several snipe also flushed from the dune grassland as is usual at this time of the year. A flock of approx 50 goldfinches feeding on ragwort seed-heads.

Swallows still around feeding over the warren, also a couple of red admiral butterflies still about in the sunnier spots. Green woodpecker still around.

On Bosherston Lakes the first 3 red-head Goosanders of the winter noted.
