Info Post

A pelagic with Seatrust yesterday started off very foggy with few birds and few dolphins. A group of 100+ Kittiwakes eventually appeared with a Bonxie nearby disapearing into the murk. Shortly afterwards we picked up some Common Dolphins and as the sun broke through and the fog dispersed we had large numbers of Dolphins around the boat for much of the day - best estimate some 300 animals in all with a significant proportion being young calves.

Birdwise it continued pretty quite - a few Auks and Gannets, 3 Bonxies and a probable Pomarine Skua with Kittiwakes probably being the most numerous species. Notable that not one Manxie was seen all day.
