Checked the three valleys, Porthclais, Caerbwdy and Nine Wells this morning looking for migrants. Amazingly, for mid October, not a single Redwing or Blackcap recorded all morning. All three valleys held Coal Tits, Water Rails, Great Spotted Woodpeckers and Goldcrests, and as expected Porthclais was the busiest.
