Quiet this a.m. with only a barwit and a summer plumaged "crested" shag feeding off the Webley. 3 Great spots drumming between Popit and the Netpool. At lunchtime across the river from the Ferry Inn a thermal held 8 Buzzard and 3 Red Kites.
At 3:30 the Ring billed gull was feeding just in front of the Indian restaurant by the co-op it was on the mud within 20 feet of me. I'd seen it fly over my head by the old town bridge landing by the restaurant. I drove over there and to begin with I thought it had left. It then wandered out from underneath me (it was feeding up against the (sea)wall that I was stood on top off.
