A short walk this lunchtime around the Tregwynt & Abermawr area did not produce very much apart from a single Goldcrest which seems to be consistent with most other people's sightings. Interestingly the situation was also the same in West Cornwall last week when not many were encountered. On another subject ( i apologise if it is already known ) the wing tagged ( 7 , 7 ) Hen Harrier on Skomer was also pictured on the Cardiff Bird Club site recently although there is not a date or site attached to the sighting that i can work out.
