St Nicholas & Pen Caer 28th Oct.

Started off slowly locating just a single Chiff in St. Nicholas. Things picked up then with a Black Redstart at the Pen Caer banker site Harmony Chapel nr Trefasser. Then moved onto Strumble where the Dartford Warbler was in the gorse & heather around the old coastguards & showed very well , this was then slightly eclipsed by a calling Lapland Bunting that went up with Meadow Pipits on the point of the headland although i found it very difficult to locate on the ground. On the way back to Fishguard another Black redstart on the roof of one of the cottages by Delaney's cottage. A look around Fishguard Port didn't find any more Black Reds although the Ship was in.
