Just a reminder that winter fieldwork for the BTO atlas is about to start - so someone needs to check that all those black redstarts are still in place for the official winter!!
Here is the map for black redstarts so far, as supplied by the BTO: 
so there are still plenty of gaps to be filled.
We still need volunteers for some timed tetrad visits, especially in SM83 and SM93. Anyone who has volunteered for a tetrad last winter or before, that they haven't done yet, and don't think they will get around to doing, please let us know so we can allocate it to someone else.
