Brent update

Had a very quick reply from Graham McElwaine, the Brent ringing chap from Ireland. The lettering on the left leg is actually and I, not a T - by a very spooky coincidence VTYY was seen today in Ireland!!! (V = letter on right leg, T = letter on left leg, last 2 letters are colours of rings, in this case both yellow, so our bird is VIYY). This is the same bird that was at the Gann on 13th March 07, then being recorded at Killough Harbour in Ireland on 17th/18th, before returning to the Gann on 30th March 07! It's a female, and she was first ringed on 20th May 2004 in Iceland. The last potential sighting of her was on 12th February 08 at Havre de Regneville in Brittany.
