Marloes Mere - Black Duck still present, along with a ring-tail Hen Harrier.

Gann - 12 Ringed Plover, 1 Grey Plover, 13 Brents.

Jackdaw - had a very positive reply from Rudy, the Dutch guy who wrote the Eastern Jackdaw article mentioned below. He said "It's a Nordic one allright. Given the shape and silvery tinge I gather it's a Scandinavian one, eg Sweden or Norway. You can find a more up to date Jackdaw-article on my website, see link here.

Canadas - from the pic the two small Canadas are clearly Cackling Geese, in my opinion. Hadn't seen these pics before today: for those who have the Birds of Britain checklist that came with Birdwatch this month there's an interesting summary of the taxonomy there (p.8), which splits 5 smaller forms from the 7 bigger ones. The fact that they are with feral Canadas probably doesn't help them much, but who knows....if anybody finds them again please pass the news on!
