Teifi, early morning - wader numbers consistently low now after the big passage 2 weeks ago, just 12 Dunlin and 3 Ringed Plover. 3 Sandwich Tern feeding over the bar.
National Park viewpoint near Nevern - Yellowhammer feeding young.
Pen Y Bal, the headland north of Newport, designated a heathland reserve, is worth a visit. Probably underwatched as it is a bit of a trek up from Newport beach but good variety of habitat. Numerous young Stonechat, Whitethroat and Linnets. 3 pairs of Wheatear feeding young. Kestrel, Ravens and Chough seen as well.
