Six dunlin on the Carew-Cresswell today, as well as a few curlew heard calling there and in Garron Pill.
Other creatures of note were three foxes. The first a well-grown cub that came within 10 feet of me before panicking and crashing through a fence, the second an adult carrying a rabbit across a field - and ignoring me as it went past, and the third a small cub that probably belonged to the adult, but was exploring out in the open on its own.
