Info Post
We went for a walk yesteday from the Sychpant car park up to Carn Igli - not much in the way of birds (one stonechat, one kestrel, one peregrine, no kites) but WOW - the flowers!!! In the Carn Edward area on the top of the hill there was a brilliant carpet of yellow and purple as far as you could see. Gorse (Western??) and two types of heather in full flower, in single colour patches and all mixed together - the only thing I have ever seen to rival it is the Bluebell/Red Campion display on Skomer. Well worth a visit.

And just a footnote to say that my British Wildlife magazines have found a new home with the Wildlife Trust.
