Sandwich Terns at the Gann

At least 16 Sandwich Terns flying around very noisily at about 9:15 though after about 5 circuits they decided not to land. Then I noticed that there were 2 more on the stony island with the motley assortment of gulls which were all preening vigorously with white feathers flying in the stiff breeze. No egrets to be seen - where are they all?? Numbers usually start to build about now.
