Info Post
A nice walk around Marloes Mere this evening.  Lots of Swallows and Sand Martins, with a couple of House Martins thrown in for good measure.  At least 4 Whimbrel present - 1 quite well hidden along the bank below the white cottage, 3 more in the field by the coast at the W end.  A pair of Gadwall, pair of Teal, at least 4 male Shoveler and one female.  Several Sedge Warblers singing and a good scattering of Whitethroats, Wheatear numbers down but still at least 8 birds scattered around.

No sign of the Glossies this evening, despite an extensive search.  Derek had them around 7.30am this morning, has anyone seen them for certain since?  I ask because at 10.25 this morning 4 Glossies came in the off the sea at Tacumshin in County Wexford.....if you'd have taken off from Marloes Mere with the prevailing wind the way it was, you'd end up in.....you've guessed it.  Will be interesting to see if there are any more records at MM tomorrow.....

It seems that Tacumshin is blessed, Greg has a Golden Plover today on Ramsey, Tacumshin has an American Golden Plover today!  Along with 6 Garganey...11 Little Gulls.....and a Purple Heron yesterday....and now our Glossies probably!
