After the first since 2008 a few days ago, a second reed warbler appeared today. A summer plumage golden plover was a nice find too. 2 pairs of SEO confirmed this year and 3 pairs of lapwing (they are on the increase!)
Chough feeding chicks at some sites now, few still incubating. One north facing site was sadly lost in the NE storm force winds last week. Seen 'nest building' again the next day but no activity seen after that.
