Stacked out with birds today, not sure I've ever seen so many warblers in the valleys - 160 Willow Warblers, 60 Blackcaps, 20 Whitethroats, 20 Sedge Warblers, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 4 Garden Warblers, 3 Redstarts, a Tree Pipit, 6 Whichats, 2 Pied Flycatchers & a Spotted Flycatcher
There was 2 Collared Doves here as well this morning, so somethings going on with them. They pop up at odd times throughout the year here, sometimes appearing on days with lots of other migrants, but other times when nothing else is going on at all - Peregrines like them!
