Info Post
Two pairs of very vocal Cuckoos were flying round Dowrog Moor this afternoon, the females especially were warbling loudly. After a while I noticed that a couple of of Magpies were persistently following one of the pairs. It crossed my mind that these canny Corvids might be using the Cuckoos nest finding skills for their own purposes, which would of course be bad news for both Cuckoos and their hosts. On the positive side, it does appear to be one of the best Cuckoo springs for some time.
