Teifi -- waders .. & ..CES

Sunday afternoon /evening;-
At Jewsons, Common Sandpipers peaked? at c16+ in the late afternoon, Whimbrel count had increased to 3 later in the evening.
4 Redshank opposite the Quay, & 5 Dunlin on Patch.
(1 Dunlin & 1 Ringed Plover on the mud at Newport, early evening too)

CES ringing, large number of juveniles as expected, particularly Chiffchaffs (24) & Reed Warblers(48).
Noteworthy records, a retrap Marsh Tit, 4 Treecreepers, a new 1 year old, (had bred) female Tawny Owl, and a sight record of her mate? the ringed 2+ year old male Tawny here.
