Whimbrel ...&...Tysties..

Whilst on Patch(Teifi) this evening at dusk, 1 calling Whimbrel flying out of the estuary.....Ireland next stop by the direction?

3 summer plumage birds this morning on the Stena side of the harbour.

I'm interested in counts of adults in the harbour;
Last year 3 adults were seen occasionally together. During late June last year I was confused by the age of juvenile(s)! being fed, the 1+ pair would be a solution to my quandary?
Reviewing my notes from 2007, having the experience we have now of watching them, they almost certainly did first breed in the harbour in 2007.
The birds when present, are best viewed from the inner breakwater.
