Info Post
The Red-necked Grebe still at the Gann this evening (in the bay, not too far out) and on the beach an impressive 34 Knot. Also 10 Bar-tailed Godwits, 4 pale-bellied Brents, a Little Egret, 7 Wigeon & 14 Teal. 6 Goldeneye on the lagoon will surely be gone soon. A moderate scattering of gulls, mostly Black-headed & Common, but a surprising absence of Med Gulls.

This morning, as per Castlemartin, my WeBS at Sprinkle Pill/Hook was very low on birds generally compared with last month. For example just 45 Dunlin (625 in Feb), 3 Wigeon (177 in Feb), 1 Lapwing (625 in Feb!) & no Pintail (53 in Feb), but Teal (204 today vs 303 in Feb) & Redshank (84 vs 122 in Feb) still present in decent numbers . A Stock Dove flying over opposite Millin Pill was a nice surprise (I had 5 yesterday between Slebech & Slebech Park, along with 2 Red Kites but no eagle!).
