Info Post
An early morning stroll down the track to the hide, at first it was the usual quiet scenario. 9 Sand Martins feeding, a couple of Teal dabbling, 2/3 Chiffs. All very pleasant & relaxing. Then 3 12 bore shotguns opened fire at the Trehill farm - the following melee quite surprised me! About 60 Teal, 3 Tufties, 5 Gadwall, 3 Shoveler, 10 Canada Geese, Mallard, & other bits & pieces all dodging the the shot. A Peregrine was also drawn into the action. As Dave said the other day, plenty there, just can`t see it all. As for the Green Winged Teal, I suppose it was there, but too much movement to ID it. I just hope it`s not on the menu tonight!
