A misty high tide this morning ........

....... at the Gann, one Wheatear, 25 Brent Geese including 2 Dark Bellied - the most Brents I have seen here this year. Also about 60 Bar-tailed Godwits appearing and disappearing in the mist. 4 female Goldeneye and the usual few Teal, plus Redshanks, Shelduck, an Oystercatcher roost and one Dabchick.

At Mullock Bridge a very wet rat found safety in a bramble bush just below the wall after being flushed out by the high tide.

Chiffchaffs singing everywhere.
