Info Post
Quite a lot of disturbance from dogs, but lots of Oystercatchers and Curlews on the shore. The gull roost had very high numbers of Common Gulls of various ages, as well as Black-Headed and smaller numbers of Herring Gulls. 5 Brent Geese on the far shore.
No sign of the Red-necked Greebe (I had a possible very long-range view yesterday afternoon) but, in Dale Roads, a summer plumage Great Northern Diver.
On the pools, a pair of Goldeneye, 3 Wigeon, Teal and Mallard, as well as scattered Redshank.
On the outlet to the Pill, 6+ Shelduck, paired up and displaying, 11 more Teal, a Little Egret and a Greenshank.
