Info Post

The female Ring-necked Duck was on view in the central lake at Bosherston this morning. Other sightings there this week have included up to 10 Goosanders (only 1 male), and a Water Rail near the Grassy Bridge. No sign of the Bitterns in the reedbed near the beach, but a Mute Swan is setting up home there now, which may have something to do with it.
Otherwise, a male Merlin flew across the road near Somerton Farm (Orielton area) this morning.
