Three pics of the shrike from Drew - superb! I didn't see the bird when I looked at 5.30pm, but on my way back past at 7pm it was sat on the nearest bush to the road and did not seem concerned by me or passing cars! After 10mins it flew about 100m north and landed on a hedge that can't be far from Peter & Rosemary Royle's garden! My best effort also attached, click on images for larger versions.
