Rosebush/Pantmaenog

Two male redstarts chasing each other brightened up an otherwise dark-threatening visit. At least 2 Wood warblers singing in the tall stand of conifers that the cuckoo favours (he's still calling down in Rosebush). Fleeting view of a small dark falcon, always in silhouette, followed it down towards Rosebush reservoir. Called in there on the way home but only a couple of Great crested grebes.
