As Johns - but no cuckoo. Spotted flycatcher past the log piles as the upper path starts, a second flycatcher at the top of this path. Willow tit (?) carrying food near where they we calling earlier in the year. Great spotted woodpecker calling. A male crossbill. Two sightings of male kestrel hunting, one bird flew off in the direction of Tufton.
