Teifi am wader roost

Much as last night, but we gained a Golden Plover on Patch overnight, and an increase in numbers.
Dunlin 220, Ringed Plover 50, Sanderling 1, Knot 2, Bar-tailed Godwit 1.
Whimbrel and Common Sandpipers around the estuary, both c10 of each.
At least 6 Teifi birders are going missing for a while, Howard & Siwan in Lesvos, Wendy, Dyfed, Dawn & I off to Long Point Bird Obs, Canada, if other birders fancy a look at the fascinating daily changes in the waders, the roosts at the moment, are for the large waders opposite St. Dogmael's Quay, and for the small waders on the saltmarsh at the Webley....Go and enjoy !!

Wheatear and White Wagtails still on Patch this morning. 2 Barnacle Geese on the river.
