....... because he did get to to see the Woodchat Shrike here yesterday, I am very glad to say. (Though we weren't here at the time)
It was still here today though it moved around a bit. Yesterday it perched on the same twig most of the time, apart from regular feeding sallies. It semed to find quite a lot of large insects, possibly newly emerged 4-spotted chasers, and even emperors, which are around here at the moment.

PS We have just come back from Jordan where Woodchat Shrikes were a very prominent bird!
Derek G has not gone to Kathmandu ......
