Marloes Mere / Gann

The wind put paid to most songbirds this afternoon, highlights at MM flyover Whimbrel (2) and a Ringed Plover. On the mere itself 2 drake Tufted Ducks, 7 Teal (5 drakes) and the usual Canada Geese, Little Grebe & a single pair of Gadwall. Hirdundines were quite numerous, in excess of 50 Swallow and single Sand & House Martins.

At the Gann 13 Whimbrel, 1 Grey Plover, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit & 8 Curlew. No small waders (Mark C had a Dunlin earlier today).
