Info Post
Just got back from a short ringing session at Martins Haven where we caught Sedge Warblers and Whitethroats from 2007 and twelve Linnets going in to roost in the sallows. The evening seems to be by far the best time to watch the valley with quite a lot of movement around although its a pretty quiet time of the year with very few young birds around as yet. A male Kestrel went west then half an hour later NE carrying a vole/mouse - perhaps breeding on the cliffs north of Martins Haven???
Not much else around though - the usual Chough and Stonechats and loads of Linnets with a few Blackbirds and Whitethroats.
