Nevern Est. last night 2000;-
5 Sanderling with 2 Dunlin on the dune-spit.

I see that in Devon last night a Curlew Sand. with Dunlin, so perhaps one is to be found yet.
Also 25th May last year, a Kentish Plover at The Patch on the Teifi.
Never a better time to look at the estuaries!!


Fishguard Harbour. Y'day;-
No sign of Black Guillemots, probably wind direction not helpful, rather than gone.
On the outer B/w no sign of any Purple Sands., but 2 Whimbrel.
Oystercatcher nesting, which I think is a first for the B/w.
