Wendy & I set out to find Eastern migrants but failed;
But we did see;
Nr. St. David's Hd.;-
1 Dartford Warbler (m) carrying nesting material, a second (f or Juv.) nearby.
a Further Dartford warbler c. 200m away.
1 Redpoll flying East.
The highlight was 2 pristine Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary.
Also Small Heaths & Common Blues.
Trefeiddan;-
Cuckoo on the wires & Grasshopper Warbler.
St. David's Airfield;-
Also Cuckoo & Grasshopper Warbler.
A Treginnis pond;-
Four Spotted Chasers & Moorhen.
LLangoffan Fen;-
Brilliant Demoiselle & Garden Warbler.
Sedge Warblers & Whitethroats singing everywhere.
St. David's Head.
