Wendy went back to the Small Pearl Bordered Fritillary site & had them again, successfully taking photos.
Little in the way of birds except Redpoll.
Nr. Pwllchrochan;-
Bird ringing quiet as expected, but 46 moth species trapped, inc an Orange Footman.
Dowrog Common;-
Small Heath Butterfly, Broad-bodied & Four-spot Chasers. Large Red & Azure Damselflies.
Paul G., also no new birds to report.
I ventured away to find some scarcer species;-
Duke of Burgundy, Adonis Blue(3+), Brown Argus (10+), Dingy Skipper(5+) all at Roxborough Common nr. Stroud.
Variable Damselfly at Langorse Lake, & a Great White Egret at Beacon Resr. nr. Brecon.
We did miss out on Wood White & Pearl-Bordered Fritillary.
