Info Post
Over the Bank Holiday, noticeable increases in whitethroats and sedge warblers in several places. Good numbers of spotted flycs noted - at Stackpole, Angle, and on Pembs/Carms border north of Narberth. However still no house martins or swallows back at home area (Martletwy). Swifts screaming over H'west middle of last week and back in a few other places now. Several raven nests have fledged young now too. Guillemots appear very reluctant to settle in their colonies at Stackpole and Elegug Stacks - perhaps they are also having a late season (the next few weeks should reveal all).

Kestrels have settled at Stackpole (on eggs) and Paddy note that I recorded a barn owl in one of your Llangloffan boxes but did see a male kestrel fly over the other box - so there is hope!

Late last week the male goosander was still around at Bosherston but has not been seen this week so far. Today Richard Ellis recorded a Hobby over the NT/CCW offices at Stackpole - heading towards Pembroke direction at lunch time. Highly likely that with this current weather pattern there will be others seen, red-footed falcons too?
