Waders in the North & West.

Teifi;-
First message from the Teifi today(1130) from Arfon W. read;-
200 Dunlin, 130 Ringed Plover, 55 Sanderling, & 2 Bar-tailed Godwits.

Numbers may have changed slightly by 1600 when we began drifting away (will return later -- Wendy.) some of the Sanderling appeared to have moved through, but Wendy did pick up a colour-ringed Dunlin. Very nice, to go with the colour-ringed Sanderling y'day!

Also 2 Whimbrel, c.10 Curlew, 1 pr. Shelduck with 8 young; also 39 adult Shelduck feeding on the sandbanks. A Cuckoo was also heard.
