Stonechat....... Again!

Having spent an hour relaxing in the Foxgloves this afternoon looking at this bird, comparing the guide book & Dave`s comments when I saw him on Wed evening, I`m still puzzled.
Try as I might I couldn`t see it`s "armpit" which is black in the Siberian race (grey in Europian)
nor could Isee the amount of white on it`s tail, however it did have quite a full white collar - & that small breast patch is very distinctive. Then there`s that sooty underside with the spots around the undertail coverts. It does appear to have some genetic cross, perhaps thats just what happened! Anyway, it`s a good way of spending an afternoon when everything else seems to be quiet.
